Folk on the Farm invite you to gather at Four Acre Farm once again to celebrate the Celtic Wheel of the Year, New year. A cross quarter fire festival of big importance to our ancestors. What will the darkness soften this winter ?
As the veil thins, the light fades and the damp forest floors light up with orange and yellow fallen leaves…we are called to wrap up and settle by the hearth fire to bare witness to the final harvest. Raising our voices in song and gratitude, pausing in silence for simple ritual reflection, stories will be told to help us better understand the gifts nature gives to us through all the seasons. And obviously tea and cake.
Expect drumming, story, folklore, song, land chat and community spirit!
We can huddle inside if the weather is particularly damp so whatever the afternoon brings, come and enjoy an afternoon of celebrating the simplicity of what is…
