Mixed Fruit Orchard

We have planted a brand new orchard at Four Acre. Over 100 trees on 1 Acre with fruit bushes and companion flowers. We want the space to be as diverse as possible so variety is key.
Our CSA members will be the first to try the many unique varieties we grow. As it matures we will sell to the wider community. We want everyone to share the experience of trying different delicious varieties. Things you’ll never see in a supermarket!
An orchard for pollinators and people
We want to give back to our natural environment because it gives so much to us. Our bodies are bombarded with toxins every day and our health depends on a good immune system. The plants that sustain us need the right conditions to give us the nutrition we need.
Without our precious pollinators we wouldn’t have a functioning ecosystem! Our food systems would collapse. Exposure to agricultural pesticides called “neonicotinoids” has been linked to “large-scale population extinctions” in bee populations. But we can all make choices on how we impact the planet and we choose to grow differently.
No chemical sprays, no synthetic fertilisers , just permanent ground cover and working towards healthy soil.
