Eat, drink and love nettles!
We are on a mission to help our local community find new respect for our spikey friend.
A family friendly event to celebrate this abundant, powerful plant. Come dressed in green, adorned in plants and enter our competition for best nettle cake (to win excellent prizes) or just come to learn all about nettles, whilst eating, drinking crafting and singing!
11am til 1pm. Nettle savoury treats, nettle beer, nettle goods and a wonderful nettle story by brilliant storyteller Rick.
Please park at the football grounds on long lane. Kids go free but do tell us how many are coming.
Let us know if you are entering the nettle cake competition- if you are please write out a list of ingredients so anyone wishing to try can avoid allergens!
